Your friendly tax guide
Meet Skatty
Making Danish taxes understandable, one chart at a time.
What is Skatty?
Skatty is your assistant for understanding Danish taxes. It takes the national budget, tax brackets, municipal rates, and public spending data (all from official government sources) and turns them into interactive charts, calculators, and visual breakdowns that actually make sense. Whether you're a curious citizen, a student, a journalist, or new to Denmark, Skatty helps you see where your money goes.

How it works
Skatty pulls numbers from official budget documents, tax schedules, and public finance tables published by the Danish government. Every value displayed on the site is linked to a specific official source; hover over any highlighted number to see exactly where it comes from and how it was calculated. The data is standardized into comparable categories across all visualizations. Some totals are rounded for readability, so small differences may appear when adding line items.
